RankBoostup is an autosurf specialized in improving Alexa rank. I have only been using it on my new new site for about two weeks. In that time, my Alexa rank went from "no data" to 1700000 or so. It is still too early to tell how RankBoostup will do with respect to Alexa rank.

However, as an autosurf, RankBoostup can generate extremely high hit rates. I have been running the autosurf all day, and am getting between 16000 and 18000 hits per day. With a free account and no referrals. No other autosurf I use can come close to matching that.

Upgraded accounts can geotarget their traffic and control the referrer. RankBoostup has a bounce reduction feature in which a percentage of visits will randomly click other links on the page. Upgraded accounts can configure that percentage whereas for free accounts it is fixed at 10%.

Using RankBoostup requires installing the Alexa extension in your browser, as well as a second RankBoostup extension. At the moment, RankBoostup has extensions for Firefox and Chrome, so you will have to use one of those with it.

One drawback is that when you install the RankBoostup extension, when it runs, it will open a new tab to display each site, and then closes the tab. But it also closes all the other tabs you have open! So you can't have RankBoostup running in the browser you commonly use. With Firefox, you can make a special profile just for RankBoostup, with the extensions installed in that profile. Then you can start a separate Firefox instance using that profile, and in that way keep it from disturbing your daily use.

I can't yet say if RankBoostup really does improve Alexa rank, but you can very easily get a large amount of traffic from it. I think it makes a solid contribution to anybody's traffic tools.
