Jill's is one of my favorite old school PTC's--extremely low payout (10 cents, last I checked LOL), and typically 10-12 cents a day in ads for upgraded members, slightly less for free. Nice contests every month--one for USA members, another contest or two for the rest of the world, and extremely reasonable advertising. I have been a member of Jill's for as long as I can remember, and given that there are upgrades for 10..-15.00, getting an upgrade every few years is worth it. Many of my "core down line" members--people who have joined almost every program I have joined for more than 5 years, and been active, are at Jills and clicking daily (as am I LOL). But the main benefit to Jills is being able to "bank" advertising. I like to save up my pennies at Jills as I do at the other sites in the group, so when I want to really spread out a new program, I can just pop over there and get a 15 second ad running for a month or two for a few bucks. People tend to belittle these old school, fractional cent clicking sites. But those who do are missing a very good advertising arena, one where your ad won't be competing with 79 other ads for the same hot program. Most of the new programs I have found over the years were found at Jills and the other sites owned by the same family. And when I am looking for a solid signup rate, and active members for a new TE, mailer, or other program, it's the sites like these I head to. The website is simple, loads fast, and is easy to navigate, with no fuss or fancy stuff. And when I do decide to cash out, I get paid in a timely mannr, which is always nice LOL. My typical strategy is to buy a BIG clicker upgrade, then spend s few months diligently clicking and winning contests, until I have made back what I paid for the upgrade. Then, if it's close to a holiday I cash out for shopping. If not, I cash out 1/2, and leave the rest for later, either to buy advertising or to make a bigger cash out. In an average year upgraded, I'll get about 30 random referrals, and about 10-12 will get active and stay that way--so the pennies add up! The take away is simple--don't overlook the old school sites, at least not for advertising. Spending 10-15 minutes a day clicking on these sites and not cashing out will pile you up enough change for some nice little ads over the course of several months, especially if you go for upgrades or ad coops to get referrals.
