My experience with the program so far

The program promises the ability to earn BTC by running a free mining app tied to Chrome browser implementation. The program on almost any platform including PC, Mac, iPhone, or Android. The browser is a Chrome variant and runs just fine. You can easily use it as your browser on your platform and can copy your bookmarks easily. It also supports the chrome extensions you may be used to using now.

As a mining app, you need to understand the difference between machine-based mining and server-dependent mining (SDP). SDP mining uses the resources of the server you are connected to and is the only way IOS and Android applications can mine. Since you are essentially sharing resources, the number of hashrate (H/s) which equates to the amount of mining being performed is low. On a PC or Mac, you can use the resources of your computer to increase the amount of mining.

The program does deliver what it promises. The implementation is free, you can run it in the background, and you will earn BTC.

What I Like

You can run this in the background and the program does deliver what it says it will. You won't get rich mining BTC as a background operation, but my home computer is mostly idle, so why not earn something? I currently run the browser on three systems. The first is my primary home computer. It is a few years old but has a good CPU and a fair amount of memory. I also am running the browser on an older laptop I use for smaller jobs. I also run it on my iPad. I think these three systems give me a good point of comparison.

My home computer performs about 4-5 times faster than the laptop. CPU and memory have an impact on the speed. On the other hand, my laptop mines 18-19 times faster than my iPad using SDP mining.

You can also change the mount of mining done to free up CPU when needed.

What I Dislike

The only thing to remember is the significant difference between SDP mining and physical mining. One optional offering is the use of Cloud Boosts which promise multiples of boost from 2,5, 10, 15 which can be combined up to 100x the mining speed. But the trick is even with the boost the cost for the boost (either integrated into a VPN offering or stand-alone) may not worth the cost at this point.

In addition, the boost only lasts for 3 hours at a time and must be reinitiated. You are paying for something that is very hard to get 24/7 usage from.

Final Verdict

You won't get rich mining this way, but my computers are mostly idle anyway, since I use my home computer as my media center for the house, it is always on so there is minimal additional electrical usage to mine. Why not earn a few dollars a month at no real additional cost.

First I will say that I found CryptoTab in the Associate messages here on LeadsLeap. I love that feature.

I work from home and have multiple screens. So, I can have this running in the background while I am working and it doesn't get in my way.

Typically it is running about 600 H/s. Yes it does make everything lag little. Not too bad. Since I am new, it am only seeing my mining and not the network. On average, I am seeing about 27 Satoshi a day.

You can load on multiple devices. I did this today on an old iPhone 7 and will keep it running.

To get the real value of this program, I will need to build a network. I'm not good at that, so I will see what happens.

My number one concern with any miner or program is if it will pay. Once I hit the minimum for withdrawal, I grabbed it to test. This was on 8/1. I had it deposited into my wallet within 48 hours. Much better than most bank transfers. Upping my review to 5 stars.
