My mistake. I forgot to remove my own id when I create the SlideSense code. (I too have to login to my own LeadsLeap account to create the code and the id is inserted by default.) I've removed it. Everything should be working now. Thanks for pointing out.

Hi Kenneth,

Thanks for reply. When I click the Ad Title I see "Recommended by "my username" as you said... However, that's not the case with the "powered by" link... And, funny thing, it becomes the same when I click the Ad Title AFTER I click the "Powered by" link, i.e., there's no more my username in "Recommended by...". I have to admit that "Powered by" is a much less visible link though... :)

In short, the answer is yes.
To test, click a link from YOUR blog widget to OUR blog (you'll see your id in the url as you noted). Then click on the SlideSense on OUR blog, either via the ad title or the powered by link. Scroll down to the bottom of the destination page (which should be either our homepage or the SS intro page), you will see a sentence that says something like "you are recommended by YourUsername".
There's just one exception - that person turns off cookies function in his browser. Cookies is on by default and it's heavily used by many established websites, including Google.

Hi Kenneth,

Thanks for reply. However, I don't refer to the slide on "this" blog but to the one on "that" blog that appears after clicking on a link on the LL widget that I put on my site which is encoded with my affiliate ID. So, let's resume:

1. I put my "personalized" LL widget on my site

2. an interested visitor click on a blog "title" on that widget (call it blog subject or blog "headline" or whatever... sorry, my English is not perfect but I hope you see what I mean)

3. the visitor lands on "my blog" i.e. on a blog where I can see very well my affiliate ID which appears at the end of the URL of "that" blog. Well, that blog which is obviously personalized with my affiliate ID has ALSO the SlideSense at its bottom

The question was, if the visitor click on THAT SlideSense on "MY" blog, will he STILL be counted as my affiliate?? BECAUSE on the LL site that appears AFTER clicking on "THAT" SS on "MY" blog, I can see NO MORE my affiliate ID at the end of the URL. Hope you see what I mean... Thanks.

Gabriel, the SlideSense you see on this blog is "our" SlideSense. It is "neutral", i.e. doesn't come with anyone's affiliate link. But if you've driven traffic to our blog via your affiliate link (such as www.leadsleap.com/blog/blar-blar/?r=YourUsername), if the traffic click on the SlideSense, you'll still be the referral.
But if you set up SlideSense on your own website, that's yours and you have full control over it.
Hope you understand what I mean.

Kenneth,

As usual you excel yourself. I opened a Support Ticket since I was having problems with the code and sure enough you sorted it out for me. YOU definitely give more than you receive.

Keep up the good work.

Hi Kenneth,

Is my LeadsLeap aff link incorporated in the LeadsLeap SlideSense text links, i.e. "Want More Traffic? Get your FREE access to this POPULAR traffic system...." and "Powered By LeadsLeap". Sorry for asking this twice but when I clicked those links, my affiliate id was not apparent in the new window that opened... I know very well that sometimes, affiliate link codes are not apparent in the browsers' windows for security reasons and just wanted to know if that's also the case with what I've just told you... Thanks
